Ballymena v Leander

Ballymena 596 Leander 548.
Unfortunately we lost our 2nd PTL against Ballymena.
However we had some fantastic performances and it is good to have back relay teams in every age band.
It was the first PTL of the year for some swimmers:
Laura O’ Rawe who had great personal best swims in both relays.
Cronan Rogers and Robyn Barry are back after a break.
Tanya Paulin who had a great leg of the freestyle relay and a wonderful PB in the 100 IM.
Taylor and Jay McGowan had great relay legs and bettered their first relays in September.
Well Done Guys.
Emmett and Dara Curran had massive personal best in the freestyle events.
John McNamee and Tiarnan Cahil also had great swims; Tiarnan had a very tough evening having to compete in all events as did Lorcan Gourley and Ramish Wilson.
Well Done Boys
The senior swimmers had a great evening. The C girls, Sycerika McMahon, Laura O’Rourke, Naomi Harkness and Roisin Wray had outstanding swims in individual and the relay to win both medley and free relays. Caitlin McManus and Catherine Braiden also had good swims in their individual events.
Christian Bennsion and his fractured foot assisted the C boys to win their relays. Adam Meek, Robert MCGibbon and Gareth Hill completed the team. Conor Simpson, Niall McFlynn, James Rooney and Jordan Carr had personal best in their relay legs.
In D age group the notable swims came from:
Emma Smyth who had to swim up an age band to complete the D girls relay team and Ashley Peirado who had several great personal bests.
Iain Chisholm had a great 24.79 time in his 50 free as did Nicholas Thom with a 25.00 time.
Thanks again to all parents who helped at the gala time keeping, recorders, finish judges and sorting out the younger swimmers.
All help is much appreciated, and new help is always welcome!

Next PTL is Saturday 5th December.
It’s a home gala so everyone should be there!!!!!!!
