Date: Feb 7
Venue: Ramada Hotel, Shaws Bridge
Cost: £45 per ticket
Leander is hosting its annual Valentines Formal fundraiser on February 7 at the Ramada Hotel on Shaws Bridge. This is a fun event for ALL parents and friends of the club. We don't get many nights a year to get dressed up and socialise outside of the pool so c'mon and enjoy. All proceeds go straight back into the club and go on ... bring a few friends with you as well!
This is a formal, so as fancy as you want. (and David, I am especially talking to you here, NO shorts and your yellow trainers are NOT considered shoes!!)
To get tickets contact one of the club captains, Eoghan or Rebecca, or ask one of the coaches and they will sort you out.
Have fun everybody.
(30/12/2008) Sunday session is back @ the GROVE.
It may have taken longer than expected but starting 11/1/9 our Sunday session is now back in the Grove.
Start time is 9:00 and we end at 11:15.
From 9:00 - 10:15 we have the entire pool. For the last hour we only have 3 lanes.
Beginners will swim from 9:00 - 10:15.
Others will swim 9:00 through.
The Sunday session has always been a great tradition with Leander and has been one of the causes for a swimmers progression within the club.
The numbers since the start of the season have been a little disappointing and I can only hope this was due to the change of location and not a reluctance to get up on an Sunday morning.
I hope we can all work together here and attend with regularity and commitment.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND.
