Live Timing

An incredibly exciting race saw Sycerika in Lane 4 attack from the start and lead for most of the race. Her main competitors Charlotte Bonnet, France and Donata Kilijanska, Poland responded and proved their own skills. With 50m remained Sycerika turned hundredths ahead of both but an excellent finish from Charlotte Bonnet saw her pip Sycerika to Gold by 0.12 of a second. What a swim! A massive p.b. and an excellent silver medal. Great job!
Another final for Sycerika and another p.b. She went out fast but the exerts in the 400m Free earlier that hour took their toll. Sycerika did a fantastic job in producing another finals swim and improving her ranking from the heats. I must point out that no swimmer that competed in the 400m Freestyle final also swam the 200m Brst final. Only 1 swimmer in Europe was able to manage that combination!
