(3/2/2012) CHANGE OF DATE PTL GALA V STRULE DOLPHINS

Home gala against Strule Dolphins will now happen on Saturday 25th February. The previous date clashed with a schools event. The plan to still go ahead with the gala was abandoned when Bobby Madine refused to swim D Boys Breaststroke.

(17/1/2012) Sycerika: Belfast Telegraph "Young Player of the Year"

At the 2012 Belfast Telegraph Sports Awards Leander swimmer Sycerika McMahon overcame strong competition to win the Young Player of the Year Award. Sycerika trains in Castelreagh Council's Robinson Centre. Sycerika's 2011 achievements included 2 gold and 1 silver medal at the European Junior Championships, 3 gold and 2 silver at the Youth Commonwealth Games.

(16/12/2011) Successful first day at Irish Short Course

Four medals on Day 1 of Irish Short Course. Conor Donnelly won a bronze medal in 400m Freestyle swimming in Lane 1.
Sycerika Mc Mahon won 3 gold medals setting Ulster and Irish records in the process.

The evening sessions of the club end for the Christmas break on Thursday 15th with the annual Christmas Fun Gala. Mad relays, mayhem and sweeties delivered by Santa.

(5/12/2011) 18 medals at 2011 Bloomfield Ulster Open

Congratulations to Conor Donnelly, Nicky and Lee Galloway, Brian O'Sullivan and Christian Bennison who won 18 medals including 3 golds at the Bloomfield Ulster Open Championships. Sorry the link does not work but the results are there in the menu under "results".

(18/11/2011) Sycerika is 2011 News Letter Swimmer of the Year

Sycerika's outstanding year was rewarded by being named as Ulster Swimmer of The Year . In the European Juniors Sycerika won 2 gold medals and followe this up by being the most successful swimmer in the Commonwealth Youth Games with three golds and two silver medals.
